How to shade beam sabers to look like they're lit up

basically this post will be about how to shade your beam sabers to look as if they have an LED system in them,like this:

step 1:your piece

1st,you will need your piece.

step 2:fluorescent paints

Next,your fluorescent paint(get the one that matches the colour of your beam saber)

next,using the fluorescent paint shade lightly on the 1st third of the bleam effect,then make it slowly fade into the 2nd third portion,after that,shade a little bit at the tip.after doing that,concentrate on the base(about 1 inch away from peg)

just to show off other eggselent colours :3

step 3:flat white

or in this case frat white.

Next,shade about half of that inch of concentrated fluorescent paint(make the white fade into the pink)

 And you have your effect.

Has a whole new dimension in execution.
