my 1st fully painted custom TF,filled up most of the screw holes with epoxy and regular putty.
Also replaced the decepticon logo in the center with a metal decal one |
Posed with G1 laserbeak(can't wait for the Voyager to get released!) |
comparisons with G1 toysrus reissue Soundwave(which i painted the gold trims on the chest and the eyes red) |
comparisons with the newly released shockwave |
Boombox mode :3 |
Omake shots
that is just one heck of a beautifully made TF :3
ReplyDeleteoh ya, how's the plastic goes for a paintjob? does it works like gunpla plastice, in such way that surfacer+ paint kinda bonds to the plastic?
yep, surfacer does stick onto the plastic, though some parts tend to chip off while you're taking the masking off(i covered those parts with weathering),also plastic cement works for filling in the seam lines :3
Deleteheard from other modeler : "if wanna repaint Tfs, then prepare to spam topcoat like hell" XD
